Baby K Vehanth Arjun is 3 Years 7- Month old boy from Bhimavaram West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, has been Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lukemia (Blood Caner). He is currently undergoing treatment at Rainbow Children's Hospital, Vijayawad. Andhra Pradesh, under the care of Dr. Veena Akkineni,MD,DM - Pediatric Oncology

Dr. Veena has advised urgent Chemotherapy and Intensive Supportive Care to Treat this life-threatening condition.

The estimated cost of the treatment between 12 to 14 lakhs, depending on the intensity and duration of the chemotherapy cycles and supportive care needed over the treatment period.

Vehanth comes from a rural family. His father, K Durgaprasad works as a skilled labourer in a printing shop. His earning is just enough to daily expences of the family. His Mother K Sandhya is a Home maker.

The sudden diagnosis and need for prolonged hospitalization have pushed the family into a severe crisis. They are unable to offfered the 12 to 14 lakhs estimated treatment cost by the hospital. The family desperate and has turned to us for financially support. Hence this case has been reffered to Akshaya Child Heart Foundation by the hospital team for urgent financial assistance.
